Question

Is it permissible/good to read several dua’s after having completed tashahhud and durood in the final rakat of salat, or is the sunna to strictly only read one dua?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer

If one is praying optional Salah or praying by himself one can recite more than one dua after the attahiyyaat and durud Ibrahim. However, if one is an Imam he should just read one dua after attahiyyaat and durud Ibrahim. (See Durre Mandhuud p.313 v.2)
