Question

I am looking to get a nikah done, but the lady I want to marry has no Wali in the UK. Can the nikah still happen? Also, do you conduct the Nikah at your institute?

Answer:

According to the Hanafi Madhhab, the nikah of a Baalighah girl without a Wali is valid.[1]

Although permissible, it is not advisable to do so due to the many complications that may arise. Also, it is important for a healthy marriage that one has the blessings of one’s parents.

As regards your second question, yes we do conduct nikahs at our institute.

Only Allah knows best.
