Question:

Is the fluid that comes out of a woman’s vagina during foreplay impure? As if it goes on to the husband’s hand and then he touches clothing will the clothes become impure?

Answer:

The liquid which comes out of the woman’s private part during foreplay is considered to be madhi.

Madhi is a pre-seminal fluid discharged before the ejaculation of semen. Ibn Hajar Asqalani said: ‘Madhi is that comes out during jest or play or when sexual relation is mentioned or when having the intention of having sexual relation’. (Fathul Mulhim, Hadeeth no: 705/303)

Madhi is impure. Therefore, if the husband’s hand touched any object or clothes afterward the clothes or object will become impure. It will be necessary to wash it off. (Raddul Muhtar p.300 v.1)
