Husband says: “I am considering giving you a divorce.” Wife says: “Does that mean you’ve given me one?” Husband says “Yes.”
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
In this case, one revocable ṭalāq would be effective as the husband has concurred and confessed to giving the ṭalāq by replying “yes”.[1]
