Question:

Lambs got infected with some disease in the mouth. Will it or will it not affect the quality of the meat. Is Qurbani valid?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

The scholars have defined the following defects (or greater than them) in the animal of sacrifice as unacceptable: an animal that has its horns broken off from the root or uprooted, a blind animal or one that has lost one-third of its eyesight or one-third of its ear or one-third of its tail, an animal that limps or walks on three legs and cannot put the fourth on the ground, an animal that has lost most of its teeth, an animal born without ears, thin/weak animals that can’t walk (Raddu al-Muḥtār, 9/468). Anything less than this is acceptable, therefore the sacrifice (qurbānī) you described should be valid.
