Question:

Assalumualykum!

I am living in Norway and have one question about jumma praying between my examination.

I am 18 years old, have a big exam of college on Friday and start from 12:00 oclock to 14:00 oclock, and jumma starting everywhere 13:00 oclock in my city. can i drop the paper/exam?

JazakallAllah

What should i do?

Answer:

Bismillah

An effort should be made to attend the Jumu’ah Prayer by excusing yourself for that time period or have the exam rescheduled to another if possible.

If this is not possible then the Zhur Salah will need to be performed in its place.

The missing of the Jumu’ah Salah should not become a habit as it is a major sin and sincere Tawbah should be made when it is missed.[1]
