Awards for All is a system which funds projects for small organisations such as charities, communityservices, schools etc. giving them a sum of money to use for the respective project within the year.
The money is funded by the lottery system, hence it would be unlawful to obtain such grants.
Allah Most High says:
“They ask you concerning wine and gambling. Say, in them there is great sin and some benefit for men. The sin is greater than the benefit.”
(Surah Baqarah: 219)
