What does Islam say about studying at madrasa without parents’ permission?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a computer science engineer. I want to go to madrasa to learn Quran and Hadith, but my parents are not permitting me. What does Islam say if I go to madrasa without the permission of my parents when they are not dependent upon my income or any other support as I have another elder brother.

There is no need of parents’ permission for learning the necessary knowledge of religion. We do not know why your parents do not allow you for the same. If they stop you from going out of your place then you should learn it staying at your city. Also try to motivate your parents with good conduct and wisdom.
