My friend’s wife has delivered a fourth child. First three girls and fourth boy, his in-laws are putting pressure on him to get his wife undergo sterilization operation. He is confused and wants to know if it is permissible in Islam.
Answer:
(Fatwa: 445/L=235/TL=1433)
It is unlawful to adopt such a method by which causes termination of reproduction and birth.
