If someone insults one, one’s relative, or one’s friend, what must one’s reaction be? What must one do?

Answer

(Fatwa: 2284/1782=H/1429)

(1) What are the possible ways of reaction? You must have asked the question after submitting the detail.

(2) If one insults a person without any valid reason, he should first be convinced with politeness and wisdom. It may be useful to get intermediation of some wise and solemn persons to convince him. If he is not convinced, then the victim should bear him it patience, pray for the oppressor and ask protection of Allah. He should always pray to Allah to protect him from every visible and invisible evil and mishap.
