I had the LIC policy. On policy matured I got bonus and principal amount with interest. The bonus is separately mentioned. Can I use the principal amount and bonus for Haj purpose.

Availing LIC policy is haram and unlawful as it involves interest, gambling and deception. However, if you have already availed this policy, then only the capital amount would be halal for you, you can use it in your needs. It is not lawful to take the extra amount in your personal use or for hajj; rather it is necessary as per Islamic teachings to give it to poor and needy ones without the intention of reward.
