What should be done with a vehicle that was purchased with interest according to Shariah?

Assalamualaikum, i had financed a two wheeler five years back & i paid the complete amount in istalments with intrest as agreed in terms & conditions.After 2 years i realized that i commited a sin & in future i will never buy anything with intrest .Kidlly guide me according to shariah ..what is to be done of this vehicle..it is still in my possession.Jazakallah khera..

Answer

(Fatwa: 1338/1338=M/1430)

When you have paid off all the instalments, you became the owner of it. Now you are free whether to keep it or sell it, but you should repent to Allah for the sin of having interest-based transaction and avoid doing such dealing in future.
