I want to make my parents to perform Hajj to the Sacred House of Allah, but I do not have what will suffice me for that currently. Is it acceptable to lend money from friends or relatives to perform Hajj to Parents and the amount taken will be given from my salary afterwards. Is this acceptable?

Answer

(Fatwa: 874/874/M=1432)

It is good that you have the blessed intention to make your parents perform hajj. But, if you do not have sufficient amount for the same, it is not necessary to borrow money to make them perform hajj. Yes, if you get interest free debt easily and you can manage to pay it after hajj, then you can make them perform hajj and the hajj will be valid.
