What is the correct way of doing musafaha (shaking hands when meeting with other people) with one hand or both the hands and its benefits if any? Please provide with some references.

It is sunnah to do musafaha with both the hands and it is also allowable to do it with one hand. Musafaha causes love and amity and it removes sins. It is proved by hadith.
