Can a non-Muslim visit a Muslim’s house during Eid?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a Hindu and have many close Muslim friends. Many times on Eid, they invite me but I hesitate to go to their houses because I think the others may not like to have the presence of a non-muslim during their festival. What is the position? (1) Can a non-muslim visit a muslim’s house during Eid-with or without invitation? (2) Will the host commit a shirk in attending a non-muslim?? (3) Can some gifts like flowers etc. be taken? Please clarify.
