Assalamualaikum 1-A sick person who is fasting has a needle inserted in the vein which provides glucose to the body is fast valid?
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1597/1515=D/1429)
The fast does not break by getting injection and glucose in veins. However, without an exigent need, one should avoid it while fasting.
