QUESTION OF ZAKAT : Please advise is it permitted to give Zakat money to the Muslim Parents of a Child with the intention that the money be used to make their child study in a school which along with the Deeneyat , Hifz ,etc also teaches English and other related subjects of CBSE course .

It is unlawful to give zakah to one’s own parents. However, it is lawful to give zakah to the Muslim parents of some children to spend it on their children provided they are entitled to receive zakah.
