Will a person be punished after being forgiven by Allah Ta’ala?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: A person commits kabeera gunah then he repents and it is forgiven by Allah and it’s removed by the angels but although it has been removed, will he get punished for that sin though it has been forgiven?

Bismillaah

A: When Allah Ta`ala has forgiven him he will not be punished.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
