Is it permissible in Islam to get property insured against fire and natural calamities?

Assaloalikum, I have a property which i wish to get insured against fire and any natural calamity. Please advise if shariyat approves such action. Jaza Kallah kahir!

Answer:

(Fatwa: 1020/901=L/1429)

The property insurance involves gambling; therefore it is unlawful.
