Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com

My one friend is a mureed of some peer.and that peer himself is not keeping beard and peer saheb also said to my friend that “tumhari nani ko haj naseeb nahin hoga” so i want to know whether such person can be a real peer & whether he can say such statements related to future? Kindly guide us.

The person disobeying Shariah openly should not be made Pir (spiritual guide). His word: “tumhari nani ko haj naseeb nahin hoga” (your grandmother will not be able to perform Hajj) is also incorrect. Only Allah knows the ghaib (unseen). None is allowed to utter such a thing.
