Is it necessary to catch peer and is it fardh, wajib, sunnat or nafl?

Answer

(Fatwa: 439/353/D=1433)

To catch the hand of peer means to establish relation of reformation with any ideal Shaikh and to have baiah with him. So it is wajib to establish such relation while getting baiah is sunnah and mustahab.
