Asslamu-alaekum! Is it haram to do a job in a bank as a loan Manager? If yes than in a country like India where almost every company irrespective big or small in size takes loan from the financial institutions like banks on interest basis, Can those companies be opted to do a job? Would that be rightful or haram. If that is also haram than we have no other choice besides business but that also requires a lot of money….. Kindly suggest where to go and what to do, Allah-hafiz!

It is wajib for Muslims to earn halal living and consume halal food. Hadith curses severely those who are involved in a bank job where they have to write interest based dealings and check it. Hence it shall be unlawful and haram to do such unlawful job and earn livelihood from it. There are several lawful businesses in this world. You can adopt any pure and lawful job.
