Asalaamalia kum mufti saab! My parents are looking for a match for me and they are about to finalise one, i have a doubt regarding this match if a shaikh’s boy can marry a syed girl? please advice me in light of authentic Hadith & Quran.

If the parents of the girl agree, there is no harm in accepting the proposal and solemnizing the nikah.
