(Fatwa: 99/99/M1431)

Foster mother is just like real mother. We must respect her, help and serve her. Once Sayyidah Halimah Sadiyah (the foster mother of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) came to the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم), he spread out his chaddar for her and made her to sit on it.
