What rulings are there on milk consumption among close relatives in Islamic Law?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
A boy and a girl who were married consumed milk in unknown age of a same lady who is not mother for both of them. Is the marriage halal?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 241/208/D=3/1438)

If it is proved that the boy and girl suckled the milk of the same woman during the breastfeeding period then both became foster brother and sister and their nikah is not valid with each other. It is not necessary that the woman who has suckled them milk is mother of any of them. If it is proved that they have suckled the milk then it is necessary for the boy to end the relation though they have married, and the boy should say the word of talaq or separation. The woman should marry someone else after completing the iddah period.
