Can Quran & Hadith resolve my flat dispute with dad?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My father and me are having a dispute over a flat that was purchased by me and all the money was earned by me and not by my father. When I bought that flat I had put my and my father’s name in it. Today my father is trying to take the flat away from me and is angry as I am not removing my name from the flat so that he cannot sell it. As I am having that doubt he will sell the flat and give the money to my uncle but my father says no he will not give the money to my uncle but buy another flat. It has been months now he does not speak to me as well as my mother also. What should I do? Please advice from Quran and Hadith.

If you have bought that flat with your money and you did not make your father its owner after buying it and did not give it into the complete possession of your father then you are the owner of this flat. It is not right for your father to insist you to take the flat from you. You should make your parents happy and your parents should also not discontinue talking to you.
