(1) Please tell me, can I ask the dead to make dua on my behalf for example: can I ask at Ajmer
Shareef saint to make dua for me to Allah?
(2) What are the different methods for making isale-e-sawab and which is the closest method to sunnah?
(3) Can I go to the grave of pious people? What should we do when we go to graves of pious people?
(4) Can I put flowers on graves? Eat shirni and bundi/sweets/flower petals which are given near the grave of pious people?

(Fatwa: 1515/1169/B=11/1434)

(1) Only by standing beside the grave of a Prophet you may request him for dua.
(2) Whatever you have read ask Allah to send its reward to so and so person.
(3) Do not travel for it specially. However, if you visit a place sometime then visit the grave of elderly saints and read whatever you want and send its reward to them as mentioned above.
(4) No, it is not lawful to put flowers on the grave nor it is lawful to consider the flowers of that place sacred.
