Zainab is married woman she has done post graduate in dental science by obtaining study loan of 750000/-. After marriage the in-laws asked her to repay a part of loan by giving personal loan. Her assets in jewellery is around 600000/- and the loan is around 700000/- . Does she need to pay zakah if so by how much?

(Fatwa: 1138/899/D=10/1434)
The amount of loan which is necessary to pay in one year shall be deducted from the price of present jewellery and cash. Zakah shall be wajib in rest jewellery and cash.
