Today that is on 6th May 2013 I got talaq on mutual understanding. I do not have any physical relation with my husband from the day of marriage till the day of talaq and my husband was totally alcoholic (sharab) and also I am living separately from my husband from 27 October 2012 till the day of talaq. Alhamdulillah I have my both parents to take care but I want to do my job for my future security. Please guide me in the light of the holy Quran in such situation does it necessary to complete iddah or I can do my job or if there is any relaxation in this case. Please help me out.

If you met your husband in privacy and then talaq took place, then iddah is wajib on you. It is not correct to go out of home during iddah period for job. But if you did not meet your husband in privacy after nikah, then in this case there is no iddah on you.
But it is not clear what is the problem that you do a job? And what type of job do you want to do?
