Yes, the talaq took place.
ثم المرسومة لا تخلوا ما ان أرسل الطلاق بأن كتب أما بعد فأنت طالق فكما كتب هذا يقع الطلاق وتلزمها العدة من وقت الكتابة. (عالمگیریگ 1/378)
