As salamo alaikum.
Can adult men wear half pants where the satr is exposed.Is the exposing of satr of males infront of males is haram?
And if so, what is the sin of exposing of satr by male infront of males and gair mahram females.Please answer it in the light of QURAN and HADITH.

The answer to your question is as follows:
The man’s ‘awrah’ – (intimate parts) from the navel to the knees – must be covered by clothing. Exposing any of the intimate parts in front of males or females (any) is unlawful and Haram. Exposing them is regarded as a major sin (Gunahe Kabirah).
