Q: I usually keep a trimmed beard, but without any intention of growing a “fistful” beard, I grew one. I was asked to cut my beard at work. Now that I did, Do I have to pay some sort of fidya?
A: There is no fidyah to be paid. You need to make Taubah for transgressing and endeavor to keep a full Islamic beard, Inshaa Allah Ta’aala.
