Q: Is Safoora a good name to keep for a girl and what is the meaning to it and is there any significance behind the name? In other words were there any great people in Islam with that name?
A: Safoora was the name of the daughter of Nabi Shu’ayb (Alayhis Salaam). She became the wife of Nabi Moosa (Alayhis Salaam). (Al Mukhtasar fee Akhbaaril Bashar V1 P 07). It is an excellent and blessed name name.
