What to do after going to the toilet and there is little time left for salaat but droplets are still coming?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I am asking this question for second time as I didn’t get the reply in first email.I have a problem for long time .Whenever  I go to washroom  ,after I finish some of the droplets comeout for sometime. I have to wait 10 to 15 Minutes .One mufti Sahab told me to put tissue paper and after 10-15 mins remove it and do the normal wadhu.Thats what I am doing but sometimes it creates a lot of trouble for me. Particularly at fajr.

If the time is very near to sunrise and I have to wait. When i am in office and I cannot wait in the washroom for 10-15 mins. Sometimes it is a very difficult situation. Is there any remedy for it .Kindly advise.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

After relieving yourself, you should conduct “Istibraa.” That is, do whatever it takes to remove the urine drops, for example, gently squeeze the private part from below or/and cough or/and bend towards the right or the left. After all this, if need be, wash your private area and stand up for a short while and sit again and repeat the Istibraa procedure as explained above. It is also advisable to sprinkle water around the private parts and the undergarments to avoid waswasah.
