Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

Alhumdulillah, it is pleasing to note that you have taken bay`ah and your honorable Shaykh has prescribed zikr for you. The most important factor in bay`ah is building a close relationship with your Shaykh and benefitting from his spirituality. We advise you to refer your query about your tasbeehaat to your Shaykh and follow his guidance.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
