Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

1)     It is permissible to do Īsāl-e-Thawāb of actions such as Salah, recitation of the Qurān, etc. for the living as well as the dead.[1] Before or whilst performing the action one may intend for the reward to be transferred to the recipient.[2]

2)     You may make multiple intentions at the time of reciting the Qur’ān.
