Which Āyah is known as Āyat-e-Tasmiyah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Which Āyah is known as Āyat-e-Tasmiyah? If there is a plain question which has been written on a paper asking ‘Which Āyah is known as Āyat-e-Tasmiyah?’, what should the answer be?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Ayat-e-Tasmiyah (the verse of Bismillah)is in the 19th Juz of the Holy Quran, in Surah Naml, verse 30.

إِنَّهُ مِنْ سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ O )النمل: 30(

“Indeed, it is from Sulaimān (Alaihis Salām), and indeed, it reads: ‘In the name of Allah , the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious.”
