In the haadith sahih bukhari it says

Volume 1, Book 4, Number 177:

Narrated ‘Abbas bin Tamim:

My uncle said: The Prophet said, “One should not leave his prayer unless he hears sound or smells something.”  is this true ?

Answer

In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

This hadith has been reported in Bukhari Shareef and is authentic. The hadith explains that if a person has doubts whether he passed wind or not, then his wudu will be intact. His wudu will only break if he is absolutely certain of passing wind.

And Allāh Ta῾āla Knows Best
Wassalāmu ῾alaykum
