Bukhari :: Book 5 :: Volume :: 93 Hadith :: 651
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri:
The Prophet said, “There will emerge from the East some people who will recite the Qur’an but it will not exceed their throats and who will go out of (renounce) the religion (Islam) as an arrow passes through the game, and they will never come back to it unless the arrow, comes back to the middle of the bow (by itself) (i.e., impossible). The people asked, “What will their signs be?” He said, “Their sign will be the habit of shaving (of their beards). (Fateh Al-Bari, Page 322, Vol. 17th)
Assala mu alaikum Mufti Sahab Can you please Explain me the Above Hadith? Is Shaving here related to Beard?

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
The narration in reference refers to the khawarij. Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned one of their signs to be shaving. This refers to shaving of the head.
شرح النووي على مسلم 7-166 دار المعرفة
( سيماهم التحالق ) السيما العلامة وفيها ثلاث لغات القصر وهو الأفصح وبه جاء القرآن والمد والثالثة السيمياء بزيادة ياء مع المد لا غير والمراد بالتحالق حلق الرؤوس وفي الرواية الأخرى التحلق واستدل به بعض الناس على كراهة حلق الرأس ولا دلالة فيه وانما هو علامة لهم والعلامة قد تكون بحرام وقد تكون بمباح كما قال صلى الله عليه و سلم آيتهم رجل أسود احدى عضديه مثل ثدى المرأة ومعلوم أن هذا ليس بحرام وقد ثبت في سنن أبي داود باسناد على شرط البخارى ومسلم أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم ( رأى صبيا قد حلق بعض رأسه فقال احلقوه كله أو اتركوه كله ) وهذا صريح في اباحة حلق الرأس لا يحتمل تأويلا قال أصحابنا حلق الرأس جائز بكل حال لكن ان شق عليه تعهده بالدهن والتسريح استحب حلقه وان لم يشق استحب تركه قوله صلى الله عليه و سلم
