I have read in your previous replies that if gelatine extracted from a pig goes through the correct metamorphic process it becomes halaal, i was under the impression that no part of a pig may be utelised in anyway, is Mufti sahebs previous Fatwas then wrong?

The gelatine of the Davis Gelatine plant in Krugersdorp does not undergo a metamorphosis as required in Shari’ah for it to be regarded as Halaal.
