What is the lslamic ruling regarding wearing a tie. Is it permissible to wear one if made mandatory by yuor employer?
Answer:
According to the Shari’ah, it is Makrooh to wear a tie as it is the clothing of non-Muslims. If it is possible for you to talk with the management of your company to exclude you from wearing the tie due to religious reasons, you should do so. Otherwise, you will be excused.
