Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

1) assalam alikum If my husband jokingly calls me sister, mother etc. is it going to effect my nikkah? He says these words really as a slang as a habit and after these words slips out of his mouth he normally says lahol wala quat. jazaak allah kahir

Answer

In principle, the resembling of a wife to the mother is called Zihaar.

Zihaar or liking one’s wife as a sister without the intention of divorce will not constitute divorce. Divorce will be effective with these words only if the husband utters them with the intention of separating.
