b) Saania (correct spelling, ‘Thaania’) – second (as in first, second .)
c) Rubeena – derived from Englisg word ‘ruby’ meaning a precious stone. This
is a common name among the Jewish. Such names should not be kept by Muslims.
d) Aroosa – refers to a bride. It could also mean a baby doll.
e) Aneesa – an affectionate friend.
f) Shaiba – refers to greyness of the hair, i.e. old age. (inappropriate
name)
g) Shayla – load or burden (inappropriate name)
h) Sumayya – something being ‘high above’. This was the blessed name of the
first woman to be martyred in Islam.
