Is the use of sex toys during intercourse allowed in Islam?
As salaam alaikum,
After the bitrh of my son (which was a very complicated delivery that left me comatose for awhile ), I became very tense, sexual intercourse became was uncomfortable for me and I have lack of pleasure from anything. I force myself to answer my husband but doesn’t enjoy a thing and he gets bored. I sook help that aren’t helping that much, but the only thing bringing relief to myself is the use of sexual toys. Am I sinning if I use sex toys on myself during intercourse. Please note that I’m the one using it on myself and not my husband. Also, situations improved for both of us with that method. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If the use of sex toys is the only way to bring relief to yourself during intercourse and assist in fulfilling your husbands right of conjugal relations, then there is a leeway to use sex toys. Your husband may use the toys on you to stimulate you rather than using it on yourself. [1]
