We don’t know why you we got divorced, wazeefah to bring back lost lover

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Salaam I got divorced last year from my husband and both of us did not know why. He came back to me after he performed hajj to say he wanted to try again but then changed his mind again and said that something is stopping him coming back. I was very confused and asked certain people if it was black magic etc but I am praying 5 namaaz a day Ma’Sha’Allah and reading 4 qul and aytul Kursi. I would just like to know if there is any wazeefah or dua to help bring my ex husband back to me. I do miss him a lot and have been doing istikhara and it is still coming back positive even though I have kept a clear mind when performing it. I am also trying to pray tahajjud more but I would just like a bit extra help in terms of a wazeefa to put love in his heart and bring him back to me. We only had one divorce in which he wrote a letter stating him divorcing me and signed by him and 2 witnesses.

Answer

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Sister is Islaam,

We do not understand your statement “I got divorced last year from my husband and both of us did not know why.” It is apparent that your husband consciously issued you a divorce[1].

Nevertheless, we sympathize with you and pray that Allaah Ta’aala grants you the courage to overcome your predicament. We advise you to identify an influential member of either of the families, or both, to mediate and discuss the issue. Perhaps this may prove fruitful and he may choose to take you back into his marriage[2]. Allaah Ta’aala says,

Translation: “If you fear a split between the two of them, then send for an arbitrator his people and another arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allaah will bring about harmony between the two of them. Indeed, Allaah is ever-knowing, all-aware.” (An-Nisaa v.35)

However, if he chooses otherwise, understand that marriage is a lifelong union which requires mutual participation and bonding. If your ex-husband is not willing to come back to you, move on. Don’t hurt yourself by longing for someone who is not interested in you. At times, there is goodness where we least expect it. Reflect upon the following verse:

Translation: “It may be that you detest something but Allaah has placed therein much goodness.” (An-Nisaa v.19)

If he is meant to be in your life, he will come back. Focus on yourself and move forward.

We advise you to abundantly recite the following du’aa:

Translation: “O our Lord! Bestow upon us from our spouses and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the pious.” (Surah Al-Furqaan v.74)

And Allaah Ta’aala Knows Best.
