Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Your question is not clear. However, it appears that you are referring to the sad plight of the Muslims in many parts of the world. Allah Ta’ala says,

Translation: Allaah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient.

And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger – that you may receive mercy.

Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire – and how wretched the destination. (An-Noor v.55-57)

It is clear from the above verses that our success and prosperity lies in strengthening our Imaan and doing righteous deeds. We cannot expect to come out of the present situation without strengthening our Imaan and doing righteous deeds. If we examine the attitude of the ummah, we are involved in disobedience and sins.

We advise you with the following in such times and conditions:

  1. Perform your fardh salaahs regularly at their prescribed times. Try to perform all the sunnah salaahs.
  2. Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allaah Ta’aala.
  3. Recite Qur’aan daily even if it may be a few pages. Understand and ponder over its meaning.
  4. Send salutations of Rasulullaah (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wasallam) abundantly.
  5. Abstain from all sins to the best of your ability.
  6. The sins of immorality through social media are detrimental to one’s spirituality.
  7. Serve Deen in any capacity, through your local masjid or welfare organizations.
  8. Increase your knowledge on Deen.
  9. Take some time out daily for remembering death and the afterlife
  10. Be in the company of ‘ulamaa and good and righteous people.
  11. Be concerned for the ummah and make du’aa daily for the ummah.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows Best
