Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

According to our research, Red Bull does not contain any haraam ingredients. The taurine in Red Bull is produced synthetically by pharmaceutical companies which guarantee the highest quality standards. Taurine is not derived from animals.[i]

It is permissible to drink Red Bull and similar drinks. However, if there are health hazards in drinking such energy drinks, then one should exercise caution. [ii]
