Renting out one’s premises to a non-Muslim to open a butcher shop

Answered by

Q: Is it permissible to rent out a business premises to a non-muslim intending to open a butcher shop. He has given his word that he will only stock halaal meat and will not stock pork and other non-halaal meat. Of course no way would I be able to verify at any time that the meat stocked is indeed halaal.

Bismillaah

A: Yes.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
