Getting paid to recite the Qur’an

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to get paid to recite the Quran even if flights/hotels etc are already being paid for?

A: Flights and hotels are not a payment. It is comparable to the hospitality that is shown to an aalim that is coming to give a bayaan, like feeding him, etc.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
