Imaam reciting the du`as in the qowmah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Seeing that people are hasty in salaah, should one enforce the reading of the Mustahab duaahs between the sajdas & after ruku or should one stick to the hanafi Madhab by reading these duaahs in the nafl salaahs & merely encourage people to be mindful of the Waajibaat etc?

Bismillaah

A: It is not masnoon for the imaam to recite the du`aas in the qowmah. He should leave out that which is not masnoon.
